I guess Vastman does not have any other example of a Chief Executive paying the salary of a former employee and where did you get the idea that his contract was terminated. I know you are family but probably the black sheep so doubt you would be kept in the know.
If MC wants to pay him that’s fine what I did not think would be right is for the club to pay it thereby reducing the money available especially when we are already flagging a difficult financial year.
I shall now return the forum to the bunch of sycophants in the hope that not all independent thinkers have been forced off because let’s face it the forum is slowly dying. I wonder how many contributors the WT forum has lost. I guess because most of the clubs no longer contribute to their forums poor old Vastman cannot go onto their section to enlighten them with his opinions. The club did not help him either by losing so many games under the Chester period.

Without knowing Chester,s contract details which, unless you are either Chester of MC why would you, this is just speculation on your part.
MC clearly believed that his actions were good and proper and that should be enough for anyone.
For a bloke that has lumped plenty of his own cash and copious amounts of time into the club, I dont understand your "beef".
I mentioned in previous post that plenty of club managers are paid off and plenty of those remain "out of action" for the most of their contracted period. After all if an employer pays you for another 12 months it can prevent you taking on a new job.
The fact that Chester is now head coach at Leigh, there may be less to pay him - equally, there may not.
Frankly, it's none of our business and should stay that way.
Let's move on. Get your season ticket bought and support the club and it's new coach.
