I agree they got there on merit although they only played around 14 games oppossed to fevs 24 and while they may still not of lost, players may of notbeen asfresh carrying knocks etc.

But im not for somone been in ourleague a(nd ill stand corrected if im provenwrong)wont be bringing any financial gain to 8 other clubs in the league and in fact will be costing them monies.

Like i said already everyone are entitled to there opinions mine is in the love of my ckub which i feel wont be helped by this

Most of these you'll have to change in Amsterdam or one of the other hubs in Europe. Which personally isn't a hardship.
Toulouse will be a better weekend away than Catalan games in my opinion, unless they are playing in Barcelona.
They'll put more direct flights on once the season and fixtures are agreed.

Depends how you look at it.
If Fev had got in they'd probably bring a bit of a crowd to our game. I can't imagine it will be capacity though unless we are both in playoffs or a relegation decider.

Whereas they would be looking in the same local player pool as us so that would affect us at academy and first team. As would local sponsorship.
We don't get much trouble these days as we don't attract away fans but if there were some this would be it (our fans as much as theirs)
And, if they do better than us for crowds, stadium or league, it fuels the idiots who want to have only one big club in the area. It's bad enough having Cas.

Not really sure how it worked but I suspect that Toulouse playing less games was more out of their control and more to do with the French and UK governments

Being realistic and not wanting our board over run by other clubs fans I'm sure the CEO would take all this into account for one game per season, after all when some of the clubs visit our ground were not blessed with away support anyway.

Like i said i coulf be proven wrong as i never looked just what i read.doesnt really matter to me for same money i can go to vegas for 6 nights.im sure it help mc though after all derek beumount said it cost him around £70k to go catalan added to the money we lose from away fans theres a pretty decent player there

We should be concerned about our home support numbers rather than moaning about away fan numbers. lets be fair despite the best efforts of the club we have about 3000 fans turn up to home matches and that is just pathetic. Those 3000 are brilliant and a good number of them go to away matches. I think % wise the number of fans we take away will be the highest number % wise compared to home support. Where we are strong is in corporate on match days, our commercial department have done a fantastic job, the boxes are sold out as is the first floor dining area, if the council ever get their finger out Yorkcourt stump up enabling new , bigger better corporate facilities to be built then that will be a strong income generator. I have little confidence in the Wakefield public to rock up on match days and join the 3000, all I hear is people moaning about the cost, we are wasting out time trying to get these people to matches. I am not a fan of discounting ticket prices. Toulouse will be brilliant in SL, their derby matches with Catalans will be fantastic, the Hull derby and Saints v Wigan have not sold out for years. Cas Wakey matches attendances are pathetic. Toulouse could just ignite interest in SL, its a great story and could generate new sponsorship for the game, Lets not look for spurious negatives, lets embrace the many positives.

No issue with it at all, they're part of SL they deserve a share of the pot. We need to focus on boosting the home support rather then being worried about an extra £25k away supporters may or may not bring.

Also, in relation to your first point, they gave up their home games. They played all their games away after May and only 3 home before that.
It's a fair bet to say as they smashed nearly every team away, and beat everyone, the reduced games didn't help them....... And must have saved the other teams a lot of money too.
