Of all Chesters star signings, Hood has turned out the best . However if you look at every SL hooker to me he ranks the lowest. He is solid defensively in the middle and tough but he lacks that zip, guile and skill of the modern day hooker. I think we lost some of that with Woody. He needs complimenting with someone sharper comming on later in the game and to me Crowther is not suited for that role.

Let’s hope so. This needs a thoroughly professional performance from the players. They need to go out there and be ready to rip Toulouse and their opposite number to pieces. There will be no excuse for lapses in effort tomorrow.

I do hope that we have considered Toulouse will attempt to spread the ball across the line and put some defensive structures in place to combat that.

Also from memory Bott is a danger close to the line with his change of direction so I hope we close him down well.

3 of us going, the last magic i could get to was Anfield, so looking forward to experiencing another iconic football stadium. Like you, hopeful not expectant. I doubt Toulouse will be lacking in enthusiasm and desire, let's hope we are up for it. :D

I really don’t want to sound disrespectful but we need to go out tomorrow with the intention of blowing Toulouse to small pieces. Be aggressive in the right areas and clinical on the edges with good ball movement.

Like against Wigan. We started to look dangerous when we the ball went through a few pairs of hands.

What we need to do slightly better is have players like Tanginoa running hard lines out on the edges and getting some good early ball to them.

Frankly I don't care so long as we win. I've totally written off this season and this team. It's not that we don't have enough good players, we do, it's just that you simply cannot rely on them to put in a performance.

I think one of the pundits on MOD summed it up when he said Man U had plenty of good players but that made no difference because they were simply a pee poor football team.

Thats us and it has been for the last three seasons. No shortage of huffing and puffing and plenty of individual bits of brilliance, but as a team they simply don't connect and that shows no sign of changing in the short term. We play like a select team who have never met before on occasions.

Can’t disagree with that. Sums it up well actually.

Sum of its parts don’t add up I guess. I’m not sure whether it’s a coaching thing, a culture thing or a playing staff thing. Maybe a combination of all three but we must build our way out of it asap.

Think our days of blowing teams away have gone, We are in the bottom 2 for a reason and like it or not we are not a very good S L team.We may get out of the mess this season but it will be down to hard graft on the field and stopping giving stupid sill penalties away, .We have had a bit of a boost this week ,but will mean nothing unless we change our ways
