Sounds like it was Salford who had the most injuries.

Great score to keep it alive at the top of the table . No one will be fielding a weak team while it’s open and will be wanting to go into the playoffs in form and with momentum .

And we play Saints in our penultimate game, I want them to have the number one position sewed up by then!

I think the try of the season came from this game. Incredible try from Croft.

As someone who has become very pessimistic of late I had one of those awful early morning thoughts.

What if the defeat of Cas was the teams goodbye swan song, just putting an old wrong right and giving us one last high point.

I suppose we will see next week, but I just can't shake the doom off just yet. I know it's the wrong attitude but there you go, that's what the last three years has done to a lot of us I suspect :DEPRESSED:

Wow, you really have got it bad, mind you, I dont think you are on your own.
Hopefully, the rest of us can still get behind the boys for the rest of the season and let's see what happens.

Wonder if Warrington are starting to get twitchy yet. For a "big" club, with their spending power, it's incredible just how far they have fallen.

For Trinity, if we can maintain our defence of the last couple of weeks, we will certainly give ourselves a chance v Catalan, who are not in great form.

I know that we've had a few new players come in and one or two go through the exit but, has there been any change in the backroom staff.
The lads are all defending as a unit and scrambling well, a level of commitment that we haven't seen this season, with the possible exception of the 2 wins away at Warrington.

Although we want to see Trinity win every game, the effort in defeat v Saints was immense and to back that up v Cas, who are in decent form, was superb.

We're certainly not safe yet but, we look like we are capable of escaping the drop, which wasn't the case a couple of weeks ago.

I'm still behind them and will be at every match cheering them on. I'm just pointing out how even the most optimistic of fans have lost a lot of belief in this team this season. Be honest deep down are you going on Sunday expecting the same as last Friday? Hoping perhaps, but expecting. I'm not talking winning here, nobody can really expect that, I'm just talking performance levels. The crux of this season and why it's been so soul destroying has not been the results but the nature. One week we will look frankly excellent as last week, then for no obvious reason we look like a team of strangers, many of whom appear to have never played the game before. It's this Jekyll and Hyde act that is destroying the fans moral, if we were just plain crap we'd have accepted that, but when you know how well a team can play but it consistently doesn't then you start to question.

My reply was a bit tongue in cheek but, I know that some fans have thrown in the towel this season.

I really would be interested to know quite what changed in the last 2/3 weeks though.
To go from the poor fayre served up v KR and Toulouse and to then push Saints al the way and finally beat Cas (and very convincingly) has been a remarkable turnaround.
In fact quite staggering.

You suggest Jekyll and Hyde but, there have been very few high points or, decent performances.
Hopefully, the last couple of games have given everyone an indicator as to what is possible from this group of players.

We certainly have some "grunt" in the pack now, which should be the platform to some solid performances and it's great to be looking forward to the next game, rather than turning up just through loyalty and meeting up with pals.

I was mainly thinking of the Warrington games.
