Not the worst call. With Hood back fit he can be moved without too much disruption as well.

Fullback is too important a role to just try someone.
Needs continuity

If Hood is fit then Langi goes back to centre. If not I'd go with exactly the same team, with Gaskill at full back.

Yes that's a fair point, but what you don't do is continue with someone who can't do the job.

How about pickersgill from fev doesnt seem to be playing at moment not sure if its injury or because of aetkins

He clearly can. He just didn't have a good game. Same as nearly everyone else. He wasn't the reason we lost by 60.

That would have been a really good suggestion, but Aekins limped off on Sunday and now Pickersgill, who is Fev's 3rd or 4th choice full back (behind Aekins, Kheirallah and maybe Hall) looks likely to start for Fev..

Hull at home last season, played well in that game and he scored the try at the end that took it to golden point. Backed it up with a decent enough game the following week in the win against Warrington.

Look he's a guy that has played the majority of his career at stand off and probably been at his most consistant for us in the centres. But he can play fullback even if it is the weakest of the 3 positions he plays. He is far from a natural there and i'd very much prefer we had another genuine option but we haven't. For me the problem lies with the people who made the decision to go with him as our back-up option in such an important position.
