Im comfortable with the fact I can see no other way out but relegation ,will it be a bad thing ,who know we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it . If the club comes back anything like a Leigh I’m more than happy spending a season playing Batley and the likes . Stopped hoping for miracles a while ago and it makes it much more enjoyable just watching the game without the added stress . Already chomping at the bit to get me n the bosses seats in the new stand for next season , if that’s watching Dewsbury or Leeds next season I care not ,just as long as the club prepares for a full blooded assault the season after . Sometimes in life you have to go backwards to go forwards, and that’s how I’m looking at this new era in our clubs history going forwards into hopefully a much brighter future .Think of it as Short term pain for long term gain ,as fans we’ve waited patiently all these years , what’s another season in the big scheme of things .
I feel exactly the same now, unless things change drastically with our results whenever the T word happens and goes through.
Leigh are a perfect example of going backwards and coming back stronger, but are not the only side to do so.
Cas, Huddersfield, Salford and Hull KR have all managed to do this. Cas and Salford have made it to a grand final. The first two have also managed to win the hood cap, and all barring Hull KR have been to Wembley since relegation.
I think with our improved facilities, a good squad, and a good backer behind us, we're probably in a better position to come back than we ever have
