Really disappointed with this news for trin, was hoping we could both be in new stadiums and in sl, hopefully you can sort something out until you move to newmarket in 2013/14. With this news it looks like you may lose out on a licence, which just shows how stupid the whole process is, but the championship isnt the end of the world, some of my favourite memories of watches cas came in nl1. If it does come to you losing out on a licence then keep the faith, continue to support your club and make sure your too good a choice to turn down in 2015.
Thanks for the kind words but I'm afraid stength of bid, community work, junior development etc. has nothing at all to do with it. Its all down to whether SKY want you in as seen by the past fiascos with Harlequins and Crusaders. I'm pretty sure they don't want Wakefield or Castleford in SL if they can bring in the likes of the Toulouse and other "expansion" teams.
I'm afraid we are at the mercy of the whishes of SKY and our future lies in their hands and possibly the failure of others - whats the odds of Crusaders or whatever they are called surviving beyond 2011.
I don't really believe that our fate rests entirely in our own hands.
