Now the election is over,the Silence from local politicians is deafening. I've just tweeted the local government minister the piece by Jeremy Cross and asking him if Wakefield Council should be looked into

I can't 100% remember what I said in my post some months ago regarding the amount I would contribute to legal costs/crowdfunding, but I'm willing to put in £1k and a few prominent regular posters on here know exactly who I am, so I can't get out of that now
So come on everyone lets get this ball rolling to show WMDC/Yorkcourt/Cllr Peter Box and SRW we do mean business

BTW I have written to all 3 of my councillors and MP today to give them a kick up the bum too as I wrote to them on April 5th and got assurances then that appear to have not come to fruition

If so it's a massive gamble if the Cas ground doesn't come to fruition, and there is a good chance it won't, though I hope I'm wrong.. The district could then see us losing not one, but two Super League clubs.

Talking and being reasonable has got us nowhere, in my opinion we have to start fighting for what is right.
