Pitts reminds me of how Washbrook was when he was in the team. Very much went under the radar with what he did on the field (apart from the Leeds playoff game ) Both very consistent at doing the basics right. Probably what we need next year, nothing fancy. Get the job done sort of player, that doesn't cost a bomb.

I've got to say though, there aren't many players I've enjoyed watching more when down at Belle Vue in recent ears than Kelepi. Very explosive and has some real pace to compliment the break made.

Be a shame to see him go, could only really see him picked up by Cas or heading back to Aus.

Yes it’s the lad we tried to bring in late in the season, he tried to force a move by putting in a transfer request.

Can’t say I’ve seen anything of him but seems like he’s well thought of.

Not questioning the signing because I've never seen him play but how does it work? According to reports this was put in place when MA was coach and previous owners. Presumably Powell is ok with this??

Suppose its Hood and Doyle as the two 9's with Kay/Smith as back up. Shames as I felt we played some of our better stuff when Bowes was at dummy half. Hopefully the new regime is signing off these recruits.

TotalRL have reported he is heading to a SL club.

Edit: Just seen we signed him while we were in Superleague.

Unfortunate it ended how it did with Keighley as it on paper it doesn't paint a pretty picture for Doyle but I think he's a quality hooker from what I saw of him at Bradford. Definitely fit for the Championship.

We've tried to sign him twice before now so comes at no surprise. Does cause you to question whether this is anything to do with Powell or is one of Applegarth/Carters choices. I'd imagine the latter, if Powell isn't a done deal and only speculative then Applegarth will be business as usuall.
