not talking about coaching open age district and county ,played for em , but talking u17s lads who's next step was in the pro game ,lads you mention I've played against and with ,don't think you'd a been a first team erst at brook house in their hayday if you were you'd have worked out who I was and you'd have probably had your nose bent by me
Not sure what your talking about really if I'm honest I'm as confused as you seem to be reading your post, I never mentioned open age, if you mean around the time they lost at Widnes in the challenge cup as their heyday I was playing in their u19s at the time so no I did not play in that side.
Those names I mentioned played in an exceptional Trinity u19 side in 1965 and one thing I'm sure of you didn't play in that side, so the only way you could have played against them was if you played for Normanton, and fwiw having played very few open age games I doubt I'd have been around for you to have bent my nose, but I must admit plenty tried and it's still in shape, I don't know what your thoughts on the matter are as you only seem to want to talk about yourself, but I was sorry to see Smith go but I'm quite happy with the new appointment made by Mr Carter and I'm sure you'll get over the disappointment of him going and get behind the new coach
