Spot on. I simply can’t believe the progress we’ve made in the last few years. True it’s yet to show on the pitch but off the field it’s immense.
We are fundamentally a different club to what we were five years ago. We now have a pathway to a future instead of being a club waiting for its luck to run out. We’re not there yet but the evidence of a resurgence is visible.
I know a lot of people find MC abrasive and I get it. Sorry if your reading MC, it’s not my opinion but I can’t deny it is the opinion of a lot of people I talk to, and I try not to talk to idiots. However the man had a goal and that was to turn Trinity into a viable entity with a future and imo he has.
I salute that, I admire single minded people. Not all the time and not all of them but I do in this case. I like to think that if I ran the club I’d do the same, but I doubt I would, I’d get carried away. We survived Covid and we still are and I’m not sure any of our previous leaders would have managed that.
JM has bought a lighter touch but the principles are the same.
I can’t read the future, but what I do know is that now we might have one and only five years ago we didn’t.
I agree with all that Vasty and I'm sure many more on here do. In the short term, the removal of the portacabins and tidying of the West terrace would surely improve that side immensely, until that side can be tackled.
Plenty of pictures of the east stand which is great to see.
Anyone know how the north is getting on with the makeover? can see from previous pictures there is activity going on but nothing about the re-surfacing from what we can see? surely must be soon

All I can see is that the old crush barriers have been removed. These are being replaced with new one on both levels if my memory serves me. Other than that I can't tell.
I'd guess the new concrete and steel framing for the North stand is the same as that used for the East, minus the seats, so will possibly arrive and be installed at the same time. Just a guess.

Thanks! i wasn't sure if the crash barriers was going to be re-set and re-used.
There was talk of some pillaring to sit the new concreate on wasn't there is I remember rightly, I guess that's what's currently going on.
I wasn't sure if it was pre-cast 'steps' or if they were going to be just fresh concreate laid over the existing, cheers!
There has been some mention of size comparison between North Stand and the new East Stand. I’ve looked at the plans and here are the measurements. East Stand. Total length between 14 roof beams is 96.5 metres. Roof height @ front (south elevation) 14 metres Depth. From first row terrace to stairwell/lift shaft 31.7 to 33 metres.( one of the measurements line doesn’t show to this wall)
North stand application drawings from Oct 2011, very basic, shows height of 9 metres @ the front, from the middle walkway. It doesn’t show the length, and there is a sort of sketch for the western terrace development but as I say, very basic drawings.
