It is no secret that they own part of the site but equally, we don't know the extent of their future involvement in both the development and their relationship with Yorkcourt Properties. If/when the stadium is built, what do think it will be named? I don't think there could be another Langtree Stadium but "The YCP Stalking Horse Stadium" or even "The Rhubard Bowl" do have a certain ring to them.

BTW have shortened my odds on the PI.

Still not sure which Bar it will be either.

In December it was 50/50, interested to know how much they've shortened to.

Langtree have built a number of stadiums in the uk and are currently doing one in rotherham that looks identicalto st helens even down to the colour scheme

A bowl would be nice, bit like the Doncaster one. Much prefer when stadium corners are filled in. In fact would it be cheaper to buy Doncasters stadium and move it here as it looks like thats going the way of all flesh...

Although it is reasonable to expect the worst, given our history, in the current economic climate it would be a staggering decision not to approve a project on the site of an old colliery that will bring construction jobs and thereafter permanent jobs. Plus a few average Aussies.

If a neutral observer looked at a "no" decision, they would regard it as madness, with the mess we are all in.
