This is the only part of your potential conspiracies that may have legs.
It's unbelievable that, the worst outbreak from earlier in the year (London) hasn't got the same issues as Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham, in term fs increased cases of the virus - maybe they just have regular flu down there
Funny you should mention legs wrencat. I remember as far back as the 60s, way before the "forbidden game" was published, I often raised the issue with rugby league and union folk. Guess what, practically the same response as I do now with my “conspiracies” as you call them. You know, the look of incredulity the “what the hells he talking about” the glazed look in the eyes.
Well it was important, I didn't want to play union but neither did I want to be banned for what went on in 1895 plus we wanted the game to be played in the forces and universities.
Obviously union folk were the most ignorant. Even as late as 2019, my grandsons girlfriend who played for Sandal R.U.F.C. Gave me the same look. I mean fair do's, I don't go on about it now, no, honestly, really I don't.. But, I felt she should know why I gave her a look of mild disapproval
( as we do, even now, don't we?) on hearing she chose the dark side. To be fair to the lass, she had tried league but prefered union, didn't argue with that.
Ahh, 2019, the end of a golden era
Point is we were right then and we'll be proved right about all this.
In fact, can't wait for the book “The Forbidden Virus.”
Happy ending, last time I spoke to her she was wearing a Cronulla Sharks top.
