The Pro's and Con's are irrelevant. One stadium is fundable as it stands and one isn't. If both had the necessary funding then this proposal wouldn't have even thought up.

I think this is what Box has planned. Chaos, with rival supporters having a willy waving contest with regards to who has the better site. It detracts from the shameful way WMDC has handled itself recently. How on earth can they say one thing less than 12 months ago then, after a lot of money has been spent by both parties, change the goalposts completely.

have you listened to yourself? Sorry but its both our clubs BoDs thats to blame they have failed us, Im sure Mr Box orchestrated the collapse of the world economy to hatch his materplan

Good post I was about to say the same myself. I think Newmarket certainly beats Glasshoughton for traffic as the ESCAPE and Freeport will be there can you imagine the traffic 6000+ rugby fans watching a match and freeport shoppers and Escape what many familys go for a day out. Newmarket would win hands down on that front.

Has Newmarket sorted out its yearly flooding issue yet?

The way in and out will primarily be from Jct31. take time to look at the "Approved" plans, travel statements etc it's all there.

Great insight from a first class nice person,he seems to think it's all a evil underhand effort by Trinity to jump on all Cas' hard work to get a stadium, how far from the truth can you get.

If you take that paranoid scatter-gun approach to everything Wakefield, you're bound to hit a couple of targets on the way, I suppose. But you're right, non of this will get us anywhere.

And can you just imagine if we had a guy in charge of WMDC who was a life long Trinity fan,Cas fans would be saying the same.

You don't think changing the goal posts after a lot of money has been spent is not a crap thing to do? Wasting money maybe be acceptable in the public sector, but it's not in the private.

Of course thereised blame at the clubs door for not sorting it out sooner. However, Trinity have been trying to resolve the issue for at least six years. Cas maybe longer. Unless there is a football club involved or a supermarket it's not exactly an easy thing to achieve.
