So who have they signed? Or did you mean they have signed no one.

Judging on the way this close season is going there is very little announced transfer activity at the moment. Don't players come off contracts on 1st November? If so then we might see a little flurry of activity then, perhaps.

We (Salford) have signed young hooker Kriss Brining. And apparently Dave Taylor and Lee Mossop but not 100%. There's really isn't a lot out there for anyone atm.

"Five new signings" is the thread title I believe. We've only announced Grix and Williams since then I believe so should be at least another three so don't really see why people are panicking.

Guaranteed we will bring people in, whether it's the ones we need/want remains to be seen. Priority now should be the forwards as we are looking light if fifita doesn't resign

Whilst I am as guilty as anyone on here of panicking a little, it occurred to me that we may just be waiting on getting MC, JK & CC together at the club before making any further announcements? I think Michael has been on holiday and JK is working with Wales, whilst I don't know what Chris is up to - all deserve a break at this time of year. So maybe.....

You may be right but, I think that we will have identified all of the players that we want to sign and maybe waiting until the time is right to announce them, with the usual one or two spots left for players who have slipped under the radar.

I think in October we (the fans have to be patient), we've never started a season without a squad (although Kears last season was pretty close).
That must have been the lowest squad spend ever, in SL, by any club.

I'm looking forward to see how Chester & Kear set things up and we're still in the : best position that we've had for 5 years

Chris has also been away too.

Waiting until they are all together would be quite logical.

Deals may be signed up quicker this way as one may need to wait for the other and so on
