God having looked at the wccg site the whole thing turns in to farce, hey everyone theres a crisp packet on the floor on a street in wakefield http://www.wakefieldccg.co.uk/
anyway for fun lets count the spelling errors and gramatical errors on that page alone,we are not dealing with clever people here!
and i withdraw my offer to pay to take you to a game as i dont mix with people who's iq is lower than their weight in tons!
just had a look on this website and to be honest they do seem to be a bit of a joke in all fairness I don’t think that website is half as good as some of my trolling attempts in the past , so if these people are your competition for your new ground I am sure you are going to be ok, but having said that these people do have a voice and you never know what kind of EDIT are sat in these local council meetings that may listen to the crap they are coming out with, so I wouldn’t completely dispel what this guy is saying .

Lots of Green belt in Wakey - It says on the council's own radio advert that 70% of WMDC is rural.
It's a real shame that this great site at Newmarket is going to be lost to a multi million pound area that will bring entertainment and industry to Wakefield. I rember those great days when I was able to take the wife and kids down to the lovely landscaped area, with nature walks, rare animals to be seen whilst taking a picnic to enjoy the scenery. It made such an action packed day out. Oh sorry Ive just realised I muddled it up with somewhere else that isn't a complete tip. Sorry for the mistake

I personally think this is a genuinely honest post. The only way forward with this development is through debate with "all" conserned, I have seen the plans and it is a truly huge development, especially for those who are going to be living amongst it. I strongly believe that the plans are as sympathetic to those residing at Newmarket, but non the less it is going to be a massive change from what is a semi rural backwater (no offence) to a busy industrial, area. The fact remains however that what is one day a beautiful view out of your living room window, unless you own the land, not always going to be so. I remember numerous areas around Wakefield that were once undeveloped land and people had unspoilt views from there homes, that are now thriving industrial areas bringing business and employment to thousands of local people, the 41 estate, paragon, junction 32, silkwood park, normanton ind est, Calder island the list is very long, and very important to the area. I have genuine sympathy for the residents, I would not wish for my house to be in the middle of such a development and neither would anyone else on this forum, so we are all nimbys, and don't let anyone tell you they aren't!!! What is needed in this situation is debate, and I welcome the views of all, sympatheticly and honestly.
The video makes a valid point, that having a rugby stadium in the middle of a densely-occupied neighbourhood causes problems, particularly with on-street parking. I have a solution, however: build it in a field, away from densely-occupied neighbourhoods, with around 800 dedicated parking spaces.
There we go, job done. Now then, if stanleyman is reading this, I know of a site by the motorway, the site of an old colliery, that would answer all the woes expressed by the residents of Agbrigg.

Debate is already taking place.
They are attacking the propositions we are defending the propositions.
Judging by the website of these people, there is little honesty in the opening post made by Stanleyman,it is littered with contradictions of what these people believe.
Eg. He would happy for the stadium in isolation to be built --- yet there website has a video attempting to show exactly why you wouldnt want a stadium built next to you.
And dont you tell me what i am, i would quite happily have it.
What, even if you weren't a wakey fan, it was going to de value your home or even make it unsellable??? I don't think you would be as quick to make that conclusion, talk is cheap!!!! as could your home be!!!! As a former long term editor of the daily mail once said, to win any campaign, most importantly you have to engage, and win over the people who are most against you.....or words to that effect!
