The main point is, if a team whether they are made up of few of the younger players can't beat a side that played with 12 men for over half a game there is something wrong, especially the Champions.
No I'm not trying to deny anything bud but the way you lot have been trying to paint the picture you'd think there were 17 teenagers on the pitch. We also had 6/7 younger players and only one recognised prop (Poore) and you had about 10, you really are making more out of it than there is especially for a pre-season boxing day game, that's all I've said.

Poore went at it like a maniac yesterday right from the off, i loved every second of it. It was an odd red card, and i'm struggling to think of too many recent games with 1 red and 3 yellow cards in it, so that says more about the ref than Bailey's supposedly wonderful goading tactics that earned him a whack.
I think Poore saw red because he had only 5 mins before been put on, what I now assume, was a warning from the ref for his high shot on I think Singleton (ironically now!). I suspect had it not been for this previous incident that ,like the other 3, he would have just seen yellow. It is difficult to argue with the ref's position on this one if, as I suspect, he had just handed out a 'carrying on like that & you may find yourself taking a break' chat to Poore a short while earlier & then despite being pulled in by Bailey, he floors him with a right hook!

I was between this position and the one i went with, as i said he did play like a maniac. I think ten would have given the same message, given chance for the coach to have a word to Poore whom was obviously in a mind to out mickey everyone else, and made for an even better 1st warm up!
.. i can guarantee that bailey will have a dig the very first tackle they're both involved in next game, to the extent that bailey will go out of his way to get involved in the tackle even if he's not required.
end of the day bailey has a small cut which will be gone in a week or two. poore has put a big target on himself for both players & refs which will last for months.
I would love it if other teams fans would read about our forum before coming on and posting their opinions. Bailey has a small cut, okay so play down the fact that he got cracked good and proper. Leeds like to make out he is some super technical machine used to enfuriate the other team, when in fact, yes he does get under other teams skin but that's because that's the type of person and player he is. Since a young age he has been one to try intimidate and boss players, yes it is a good way to put players off their game, but Bailey got what he was asking for, as the type of player he is, a good crack.
As another poster has also poster regarding Poore, he has made 200 or so NRL appearances, and this is beleived to be his first red card at first grade level in his career. So you stating he is a loose cannon who won't be on the field and be target because he's weak on his discipline doesn't match his track record.
I think on the flip side of this, you say people will target Poore and this will last with him for a long time, I think it also sends the message out that you can't pull Bailey stunts when Poores on the pitch. I don't think we'll see Bailey trying those tactics again do you? Grabbing hold of people and provoking fights? Unless he is really silly and does want another "small cut", so therefore, isn't Poore going to render your super tool useless when it really matters?
Well my Dads bigger than your Dad so na,na,na. It was a pre season friendly and it wont have any reflection on the season to come. About time it was played at BV for a change one boxing day.

plenty of players have cracked bailey "good and proper" the point you lot (and plenty of other teams fans) miss is the fact that bailey gets up and plays on, the 'hero' gets to watch the game for the sideline for 10 mins or the rest of the game. who's the real winner? bailey (and his team mates) knows that they're playing a team sport where taking one for the team, quite literally on many occasions, is all part of coming out on top.
I'm stating he'll will get targeted, the fact it was his first red card, makes it even worse. he's shown every coach in the league that he's come over here thinking he's better than everyone else (which is a great attitude to have btw) however he couldn't actually handle the attention of been targeted. whether he reacts the same way again or not is up to him, and to a certain extent relatively pointless, but it'll certainly affect his game as every team will target him - extra men in the tackle, sly digs, off the ball extras, etc.
now you're just being stupid, i can guarantee that bailey will have a dig the very first tackle they're both involved in next game, to the extent that bailey will go out of his way to get involved in the tackle even if he's not required.
