Can't believe the pessimism on here, give the guy a chance for goodness sake. He's done a decent job at Hull KR so let's see what he can do with his home town club. It'll be great to get JK back too, well done MC, JK's knowledge will be invaluable. Onwards and upwards Trinity (we hope)

I cannot comprehend what goes on in some people's minds - they talk about wanting someone who can motivate the players and make them proud to wear the shirt, and then say the players are useless. Great motivational technique there. Glad I'm not working for any of them. Chris Chester has a chance to show what he can do and he will have my full support. The success of any new combination of team, coach and club is difficult to predict but with everyone suporting them, rather than denigrating them, the chances of success will be higher.

I totally agree heard Mr Bluff chose Chester in front of Wayne Bennett as new coach.

No pressure on Chester not his players. You can not make a silk purse from a sows ear. A step forward bringing in head of coach , keep going mr carter you are heading in the right direction

Best of luck to him - he has a win ratio with HKR that we'd kill for, albeit with a team that cost significantly more; I'm happy to back the guy, until he gives reason not to.

As for JK as DoR - I would imagine that's with a SL clause; but if he does come next year, it's a role that I feel suits him better than Head Coach - and his Filofax will be worth its weight in gold. Hopefully, Richard Kelly can make enough noise about the Academy lads to force him to pay attention this time around.

Did you enjoy Campese's 20 minutes for the season, great player if we can ever get him on the pitch. The likelyhood of Green going anywhere Chester is is pretty remote, don't think he'll ever forgive him for not picking him for Wembley when he was our form forward.
