He didn't say anyone had to go, but to give an idea, an extra 500 adult season tickets is around £130k at a quick guess

Hi Daddycool,

After completing many career modes on Rugby League Live 1 through 4, I would like to have my input as a seasoned/experienced SL and NRL coach.

My main aim would be to keep the ever present Tinirau Arona, currently 28 years of age I believe we are a very different outfit with him in the side. Ideally a 2 year deal but would accept 1 year dependent on the players wishes.

Finny and Kirmond I would be trying to extend for a further year, purely to prepare for their retirement/departure of the club which is inevitable bringing Hampshire/Wood into the halves to compensate.

Jowitt looks to be the replacement for Scott Grix so he would be getting an extension.

I would be releasing Crowther and MCB, I don't believe Crowther is SL standard at the moment and we are more than covered in the forwards at the moment. MCB although talented, isn't as good as TJ or BJB. I would stick with them...

If anyone has an issue with the above - I must point out that this is only my opinion.

I believe we would be able to cover with the likes of Hampshire (providing he's not in the halves), Hooley or Arundel. Not ideal but providing we aren't missing both TJ and BJB.

Just an observation here, i would expect that when Kirmond was given his extension that he was seen as a vital member of our team (And captain of course) that the salary offered would be one to reflect that? Next season at 33, and slowing down a little (you would expect) and as we have seen already this season been spelled naturally a players worth goes down, obviously i do not know all of the ins and outs as you do Daddycool but i would imagine that a new offer would reflect that of his role going forward?

When it comes to Jowitt, it comes down to what Chester sees as the future at Fullback? I am aware that he rates Hooley very highly and obviously Grix is number 1 at Wakefield at the moment. If CC sees Hooley as taking Grixes shirt in the next few years then he is in a position whereby Jowitt would be a luxury cover.

Finn/Hampshire - Again all comes down to Chester`s plans, does he see Hampshire as taking that 7 shirt next season?

Without knowing all of the ins and outs financially its impossible to make an accurate POV.

Arona is a unsung hero in my book hes been fantastic. Think he deserves a deal for sure. May have to juggle MC. GREAT BLOKE ASWELL.
