I like Westerman when he started out. Can't remember whether it is injury or moving position but he hasn't continued in the same trajectory, but he clearly has skills.
As said, if he comes with a big pay requirement or baggage off field I wouldn't bother as there are others coming through and options over seas. If he was coming as a project and replacing Kirmond then I wouldn't be against it.

It was only 2015 he was a big buy for Warrington and he was a marquee signing for Hull before that.
I guess Chester has to decide, 1) has he still got it and 2) can he get it out of him.

Can't see it being at Wakefield unless someone has a spare £100k lying around, that's assuming CC would want him in the first place.

If I was betting with somebody else's money I'd have a quid on Cas, on Sky last night Carney asked Wells about a rumour of a possible signing, Wells said there was an imminent signing but would not be drawn on who it was, could be Catalans though I suppose, but I doubt very much it will be us.

he was signed by rule and hetherington irrc, not a marquee signing as that rule wasn't available then, just an expensive error! cost us nothing this time so hopefully less pressure on him

There’s a player in there somewhere. I wonder if his short stint outside the top division will make him sit up and realise he needs to get it sorted. Nothing worse than wasted talent.
