That just wasn’t good enough. We are so pedestrian it is untrue and the out the back move has been found out. Time for Finn to hang the boots up i’m afraid, he just isn’t up the the pace of superleague anymore.

I have to agree regarding us being pedestrian. Passing too slow, no one running from deep at hitting the ball at pace. Defensive line static and last tackle nothing kicks (that’s if we actually get to the last tackle and get a kick away as opposed to being tackled in possession). Worrying thing is they teach you most of this at U11 level so why professionals can’t do it is beyond me
I'm sure CC must read this forum and with the number of people who point out our faults week in, week out why doesn't he just stop and think, "Perhaps they have a point". We see the same old faults time after time. All that euphoria at the end of last season has come to nothing and the fans let down YET AGAIN.. I wasn't one of the "Chester out brigade", but I'm beginning to wonder. We have hard times ahead.
Its seems i only make comments when things go wrong but cmon performances like that need talking about narrow defeat yea but the try by rankin was a try by anyone knowing owt about rugby league hamshire in my opinion did ok lots of criticisum as been thrown at trinity 18 because of his views about max jowitt but as i recall these were my views on here over the lest couple of years and thepathetic way tha comments refered to the lad as max instead of jowitt lets get real lads i thought this team was capable of a top four finish early on in the season but now comparing it the solomona and taduala team not in the same class im afraid probably because the teams in opposition arnt as good

I'm pretty sure he doesn't read these boards.
But if he did he'd have the advice of play the kids, don't change the team, change the team, Horo is rubbish, Horo is MoM, Horo is rubbish, PP is not fit, we should play PP at second row, PP doesn't run from deep, PP will monster Brough, play Max, play Grix, play MCB, dont drop TJ, play Randell at half back, dont play Kirmond, we need a leader, buy someone from Fev, Arona should not be renewed, Arona is too valuable to lose, Tupou is great cos he makes most yards in Super League, drop Tupou cos he doesn't pass....need I go on?
Personally i’m not quite at the Chester out stage as yet but the pressure is mounting. This team should be performing way better than we are seeing, everyone to a man agreed we had the best squad we have ever had in superleague. Well we are not seeing that and the buck stops with the coaching team. And remember we sacrificed the cup to target this game. Well he got that badly wrong.
Widnes on the plastic pitch is now a massive game and to coin a phrase, it really is must win to calm the nerves. I think we’ll win the game but if there is a reverse there then it might be time to question one or two positions.

All those points refer to individual players. It's the team performances that he needs to pick up on. We can all see where they fall down on the field; why can't he? Basic tactics such as quick play the balls; attacking as a force and not one man rugby, avoiding opposition overlaps etc etc. I'm sure he does read these boards if only to see what the fans think of him. It's only natural to do this.
I think it's only fair now to give certain players the same amount of games as some of the starting thirteen. Jowitt at fullback, Hampshire at 7, Wood starting 9, Arundel in place of one Tupou, Lyne, Batchelor in place of Horo or Kirmond, Baldwinson on the bench.
Complacency can be a result of certain players knowing they won't be dropped which is part of what we're seeing.
