Tbh on this occasion I thought PP and King offered more, be interesting to see the stats as I’m probably wrong.

I agree, as did kopzac. But they came on too late, the damage was done in the first 20. As soon as they got on the pitch Cas stopped coming through the middle and the defence stiffened right up. Also thought keegan Hirst played really well.

First 20 cost us the game when we couldnt match Cas up front.

This should read THE team not Jordan with the starting tactics and blaming Jordan is so mickey Poor from a so called wakey fan, I'm not a pro-SL coach BUT every fan was highlighting why we didn't meet fire with fire that first half with pauli on but we didn't and Watts ran amok with us,Second half when we did have the big lads on we tired them more and could and should have won it, But FFS stop blaming our young player who did nothing wrong at ALL.

Proved his worth today. If he and Horo hadn't been able to step in to that hooking role at a good level we would have lost that game.

The title of this thread doesn't half look daft now !
The lad certainly STEPPED UP yesterday, filling the #9 role with seamless ease and really looking the part.
For a young forward filling in at hooker, loose and second row, Chester must be mighty pleased to have Crowther in the squad.
