Did JD not openly say only a few weeks a go that he would snap at the chance of a head coach gig in SL? Whether or not it is the right move for him or not, it is a big opportunity and quite a good one - The Leeds board seemed to back Furner with funds for players and lets be honest the side that they have over at Headingley isn`t as bad as they have shown, okay I don`t think they are top 5 material but you would say mid table based on ability. The only real negatives for me looking at the role would be the apparent control from above and the pressure of a unreasonable bunch of fans - Lets be honest, is there any other group of fans out there that would be calling for the head of a coach that has just made history by winning the treble?
Oh and IMO, I think they could do much worse than stick with Agar for the rest of the season, I think we will see an improved Leeds under him.
