Keep the pre-fabs not even Homme Vaste would be foolish enough to suggest that and he has some strange views in my opinion. As for removing the top two floors and keeping the rest not even worth considering. Anyone who has used the unit knows the state it is in, a temporary structure put up in 1999 and still standing 2019 and not looking too good on the inside.
Although I realise that you are intent on trolling my every post regarding this subject, I'll indulge you all the same.
I don't know where you get your 'expert' knowledge from and so far you've never had the good grace to say, but on this one, you may be correct. From what I'm told the flats only had a ten-year licence when built, so they are already ten years over their sell-by date. Not being a structural engineer I can't say what state they are in but I use them and they don't appear much worse than the day they opened.
The boxes running down the side are 30 years old, please explain how they remain useable yet the younger Benidorm flats are not.
Having visited many sites for second-hand pre-fab buildings I can tell you now there are many units equally as old and far more decrepit selling for good money, so why are ours so beyond the pale?
I don't mind you having your say, you may even be correct on this one. What I do mind is that you never back it up with any facts. Stating that 'anyone who has used the unit knows the state it is in' is not scientific or factual, its just your opinion. Back it up and I'll be much more impressed until then I'll stick to my own opinion. Thanks.
