Exactly, I mean its not as if every other club is going through the same pandemic is it?
I never said other clubs don't deserve the same. We play the season out to ensure we receive the Sky money, after that we move on and pick up where we were pre-covid.
Full Squad, new assistant and a few months to get things running smoothly.
Carter's message on the recent interview sums this up perfectly, we need to give the club some leeway at this time. A number of people on here are way too caught up on sacking Chester but there is literally nothing that he or Michael can do when almost half of your matchday squad is stood down the day before a match!

I've just listened to that FIL, and despite all the comments made on here, I think under the present circumstances, I'm prepared to cut both CC and MC some slack.
I honestly don't think now is the time to get rid of CC (even if we could afford to!) and as for MC ditching the club, I just see a man who is committed to the cause.
This season is write a off. This year is a write off for many things other than rugby ,it's unprecedented but it's real, and eventually we'll get through it.
I hurt as much as anybody when we lose the way we have been doing but what we really don't is how many of the players on the pitch should be playing at all?
I'll buy my season ticket for next year and I look forward to next season and better times.

What about the games before the lockdown what’s the excuse for those performances. It is clearly an attempt to circle the wagons around his friend Chester blaming those supporters who are not willing to go along with the mediocrity of the last 12 months. They want our money but not our opinions unless they are the same as the club’s. What do we know about rugby despite many of us supporting Wakefield for more years than we like to remember. I think we know an underperforming team with no game plan or fitness when we see them, at least give us some credit.

.
I get it SP, I'm as bewildered as you are about some of our play, our lack of fitness and game plan - but yet the signings, until recently seemed sound, and I was really hoping for better things this season- BUT- things have gone pear shaped. We're struggling, no doubt about it .blame what you want, bad coaching, lack of fitness, bad selection and poor player attitude. I've seen many coaches at Wakefield in my 60 plus years and some bring success, but sadly most don't. I think it's a mixed bag of causes . MC could sack CC if you think that will make a difference personally I think there's a lot more to it., for now anyway.

All of those things you've highlighted are the responsibility of the coach though, and so far, Chester has shown he has no understanding of how to rectify the situation he has got himself into.
Yet the "We" that Scarlet refers to as the fans who know better because we have watched for ages actually all have different solutions so 'clearly' it isn't that simple.
I'd also say if watching Wakefield over the past 40 odd years makes me an expert, I should also be a top criminal investigator, be able to do some pretty neat surgery, understand how Warp speed works and understand how to chat up pretty women just by saying 'How You doin' ". My life just got a lot better realising that. Thanks.

We agree on that much. The level of alleged expertise on this forum is quite staggering. They remind me of Piers Morgan who becomes an expert on everything simply by casting his gave upon it.
You forgot to mention your new found ability to cope with the pandemic, another subject to which this forum seems to have unlimited knowledge of.
Thus I proclaim you Dr Poptart.
