Agar and Webster as his assistant, not as good coaches as the moaners on here during their time at Trin.

The problem with Agar like many coaches he had taken the team as far has he could and was replaced. This is the problem with the current situation Chester does not want to admit it and the club do not want to sack him.

As bad as things are, I'd not want Agar back. He seems to fit at Leeds, a big club going through a transition period where expectation has been slightly lowered after some awful seasons. He can buy his way to better performances, but again another coach who doesnt seem to improve players, although he could spot talent and talk a good game.

If Agar was back at Wakefield, I doubt very much he would be any better than Chester.
Like you say he can buy his way to better performances where he is, but the truth is, that any coach at Wakefield does not have that luxury.
The difference between a lot of 'top' coaches and the ones not regarded in such esteem, is in my humble opinion, mostly money.
Football is a glaring example of such.

How does Watson fit into all this with one of the lowest if not the lowest spend but just went toe to toe with the big hitters . Grand final last year ,challenge cup final this year all on a Shoe string .Id say that blows that idea out of the water

Not really. There are always exceptions, but they are in the minority.
Name me another one, you can't because there isn't one.
Don't get me wrong, the 'top' coaches are no mugs, but they have quality players all round them. such clubs as ours simply don't!

Perhaps today's final can put paid to any comparisons between Salford and Trinity. They played for the full 80 mins good hard rugby and never let their heads go down when behind, Well done Salford, a good well coached side.
