I get your point I honestly do but as stated on my last post his route to SL was a bit different.
'Toronto was splashing huge amounts of cash and although he probably could have got another NRL contract it probably wouldn't have been on anything like the wage. So for me he's not some crock but a decent player whos become available through an odd set of circumstances'.
He's definitely a cut above the average pension seeker. Of course, we can't be sure but due to the circumstances, I'd call it a risk well worth taking. Also, I don't think he falls into the 'A signing for a signings sake' category due to his versatility. Three positions covered to varying degrees is a lot of value for money and may prove incredibly useful.
