Hopefully Leigh won't benefit from teams putting weakened sides out against them like Saints did twice against London last season.
It certainly made it more interesting down at the bottom but it's not ideal for the other teams down there

You do realise that the ground part of all the past franchises has been relatively small. The criteria was never about steel and glass structures but mundane stuff like baby changing rooms. BV has always met minimum standards and when it didn’t it was improved, example roof on North stand.

Let me tell you straight, it’s a complete myth peddled by cyber theorists like you that Trinity have ever used previous stadium plans as leverage to win a franchise. This is because future developments, though included, are not part of the franchise points system. Sorry to blow your conspiracy theory but that’s how it actually is.

Crap though BV is it’s never been below standard, whilst the rest of the clubs infrastructure has always scored high, conveniently ignored by fans of clubs who fail to match us.

We are in SL because we’ve earned it, it’s the only reason. If SL could have justifiably junked us they would. Luckily the RFL/SL generally runs on facts especially where franchise is concerned. Thankfully they are not guided by the ill informed nonsense people post on here.

In or not is irrelevant, you were given a license based on a criteria that was open to any team that fancied a go - you didn’t earn the right on the pitch or because you were already there, you got the vote

And making the most of it as you have - that is only because of the weak leaders who didn’t kick you (and others) out for not meeting the criteria that got you voted in in the first place

Of course we earned the right we won a final don’t be a fool.

The fact we were already there tells any sane person we earned it, RL is still as far as I’m aware sorted on the pitch.

The only way we could rightly have been refused a franchise is if we had fallen bellow minimum standards or another club offered a better alternative in EVERY respect.They didn’t, what part of this don’t you get?

If you didn’t know, the game is played on the grass in the middle not in the terraces or toilets and I don’t want to or be bothered to keep reminding you that Wakefield got enough points per game to keep us in SL end of as you are getting boring now and can see this going on forever with you. Bye

Bloody hell, I can't believe what's been going on here in the last 24 hrs! Personally,I have every respect for all Wakey fans, and your club,and love to converse with all of you whenever i feel to do so. I must say that atomic (the mod) has completely ruined the Leigh forum board with his over zealous authoritarian approach,and has now belittled your club for some odd/unknown unacceptable reason. The Leigh forum is now dead because of him as well. His posts are completely unnecessary, and i will now take the opportunity to apologize on behalf of all Leigh fans who i'm sure would agree with me that he is nothing but an idiot.
