Chester 2 year deal very underwhelming .Been living of the a very fit team he was left with when Smith left .Wasted a lot of cash on poor signings. When we sign some one half decent he moves them to prop .round pegs in square holes spring to mind When Kear left, a good coach should have been able to keep us round the standed we was.We have been in decline ever since .For get injury excuses, if he had not stuck by is very poor backroom staff that he let go before this season ,think the injured player's would not have been rushed back like they were. It's no coincidence that the defending as improved since the .two new coaches have arrived .The attack is still woeful.and by far the worst in S L depending more on a bit of flair than structure .

I did say i know people who wont renew and that is true and to be honest most of st sold will be renewals at the moment not newbies

Why be fair most people say it all the time. Luppy says it about everything, a change in Chesters aftershave seems to be enough to send him tumbling over the abyss and he’s far from alone.

What do you think, will if true Chester being given another two year contract help with supporter numbers considering we are in the entertainment sector.

I can't read the future.

CC had three good years then three not-so-good years, next year might be a good one.

I don't know, you don't know but there is one thing for certain, there is no guarantee that whoever took over from CC could do as well or even the same and there is a massive he could do far worse.

So excuse me if I don't attempt to answer what is purely speculative.

FWIW we have shown signs of improvement this season most notably in defense and with a few team tweaks, I reckon we will be ok next year. If we are and results go our way and most importantly if the ground developments go ahead we will attract fans. HTH, that's how it is and has always been.
