That's at least 4 home games that need addressing,to encourage greater home support Shuds, Salford and 2 from France.
Come on Trinity start with insentives for these 4 games and encourage the a Wakey public to attend.

Not having a dig at your post, but have amended it slightly.

Sorry but it's a huge NO from me. I totally disagree with cut-priced tickets other than those aimed at kids. It devalues the product and frankly only encourages people who will only ever turn up on the cheap.

It bankrupted Bradford and has failed miserably for Hudds, it rarely works.

A far better idea is attractions. A mini-tournament for kids at halftime, add to that an academy or ladies game pre-match. Perhaps some X factor person pre-match for the kids, that actually worked on occasions, especially if a sponsor paid. Or be really creative, make up a prize of say a grand for the one hundred thousand fan to enter BV since the start of SL began (or whatever). That will get them out of the woodwork!

Anything but cut-price tickets.

Of course, we could just take the old-fashioned approach and win most of our games and always play entertaining RL, just a thought.

What a joke you are.

Wigan now reduced to gates of 5000 id have preferred Fev over you as they have more fans than you.

Cas take way more fans to away games than you and they stop to the end. Hudds also beat you, these days you’re on a par with Salford.

You’re either blind or you’ve broken every window in that glass house you’re living in.

Wigans average home league attendance post covid restrictions was 11,202.

Yes but Shuds offer cut price season tickets and still have a problem selling them, Bradford wage bill crippled them not attendances.
Pre match or half time entertainment a good idea, I seem to remember diversity at BV during half time.
All I'm saying is that it's the clubs who need to look at ways of creating interest and the more people that attend tend to spend money while attending.
I also think the Wakey Express could ne used more, it's circulations about 35000 I believe and an occasional add with sponsors wouldn't cost that much.
I seem to remember Warrington having a bring a friend for free with the purchase of one adult ticket for a number of games one season.
Its totally the clubs responsibility to at least try to increase all match day attendances but they have to show willing and make an effort.

There was 8.000 according to Sky but we'll call it 9 if it makes you happy, it was a one off million pound game which we ourselves have been involved in against Bradford who fetched 1500 fans in a crowd of 9000, unfortunately some of those Wakey fans only turned up for the day lets hope those at Toulouse don't do the same, I along with a lot of other Wakey fans used to turn out on a regular basis at Wigan but don't bother no more, a bit like your fans whose support has dropped alarmingly especially your away support, admittedly we don't travel in the same numbers any more, but to lump us in with those two really is quite insulting, as for Cas I'd bet that apart from FC and Leeds are as well supported as any team.

9,235 according to todays League Express.

For those of you planning a trip next year, it's worthwhile considering flying to Carcassonne (beautiful walled city) and getting the train to Toulouse (45 mins)
The flights to Carcassonne are generally cheaper than the Toulouse ones.

Yeah but they clearly have not recovered have they.

Whilst pre Covid you bought no more to BV than we bought to Wigan and generally you came to BV on a Sunday, where as we generally had to hack over the M62 on a Friday!

So drop the high and mighty stuff, 20 years ago then yes an astonishing following from Wigan but not now.

Think adding acadamy or womans game prior is a good way to do this as long as people who watch the acadamy pay full price .with regards kids playing before they give out cheap tickets and they tend to be local too so alot of time parents of kids would attemd anyway but now they can for half price.

To be fair we play our hime games around 3 clock on a sunday meaning no traffic and not as many people work on a sunday l,you play at 8 clock on a friday when m62 is rammed and people have been at work so they dont always have time to make the trip

8000/9000 what's it matter, the point is will they still attend next season as you seem reluctant to answer, also you don't seem to want to comment on vastman's post regarding our massive effort to get to your ground on a Friday evening where as you come over here on a quiet Sunday afternoon yet fail to bring as many fans as we take to Wigan, care to comment here, one last thing, I'm not a good flyer so personally I'm reluctant to fly to Carcassonne as it's not the best of airports, but quite a few Wakey fans go via that way on a regular basis, and catch the double decker train down to Narbonne and then wind down towards Perpignan by the coast, so it may surprise you that although we give your stadium a miss quite a few of our fans still go and I'm sure most of them will be eager to go to Toulouse although I won't be going as I've had my share of French trips, tbf though there's more chance that I'll return there before coming to your place, if we fail to satisfy your high standards regarding attendances please come back next season and give us a resounding reprimand.
