Come on Trinity start with insentives for these 4 games and encourage the a Wakey public to attend.
Sorry but it's a huge NO from me. I totally disagree with cut-priced tickets other than those aimed at kids. It devalues the product and frankly only encourages people who will only ever turn up on the cheap.
It bankrupted Bradford and has failed miserably for Hudds, it rarely works.
A far better idea is attractions. A mini-tournament for kids at halftime, add to that an academy or ladies game pre-match. Perhaps some X factor person pre-match for the kids, that actually worked on occasions, especially if a sponsor paid. Or be really creative, make up a prize of say a grand for the one hundred thousand fan to enter BV since the start of SL began (or whatever). That will get them out of the woodwork!
Anything but cut-price tickets.
Of course, we could just take the old-fashioned approach and win most of our games and always play entertaining RL, just a thought.
