I hope we passed to Butler this time. I have a question it appears that WP is still trying to find something in the team that I think is long gone. Was it Salford at home when we actually scored a try from our own half. For the last few seasons whoever is selected out wide, their defensive structure just goes missing. It was the same with Chester and now WP. He changes players moves them into different positions but it makes no difference. I accept we used a lot of our luck to beat Hull and Warrington but why do we descend so quickly into mediocrity and lower.
We can look for slight improvements but unfortunately we do not have time left for this to work and I wonder if WP as been thrust into a job and the problems associated with Trinity that is currently too big for him to solve.

I don't disagree with you.
I'm not happy about losing by so many.
I am happier than I was at Salford.

I'm just pointing out not everything is terrible. Signs of improvement are the only thing you can hope for after the drubbing we got last week.
If we improve at the same rate this week we have a chance. I'm not confident but I'm more confident than I was.

Being better than that 'effort' last week yet still conceding nearly 50, even if it was against Wigan, isn't reason to celebrate. Yeah there was a couple of decent performances in there but overall it was still pretty poor defensively. Given the other results this weekend the Toulouse game is even more huge than we thought it would be. Win i think we will stay up, lose and we are in deep trouble.

I didn’t think we’d win, not many would. Today was what I was expecting against one of the best teams in SL after a hammering the week before.

It is a shame the team do not help you with their performances. I actually admire your desire to look for the best in the team but sadly for me after so many seasons of heavy defeats poor performances and bad signings I think the club will finally be relegated. It’s not much of a legacy but when we have faced this in the past we always had hope, the team were a team and despite the severity of our plight we pulled through. This season we are on the brink of a redeveloped ground but possibly Championship rugby. We had a lot to look forward to but we failed to capitalise on the squad we had preferring to waste money on basically players worse than the ones we let go. The reason for this only the club know.
