His early silly comments on social media didn't help. I can see him being a bit stubborn and that may result in the odd sulk when things don't go his way.
His early devotion to the club also got wrapped up in I'm the saviour complex and it's my club and I will run it as I want.
Yes he seemed driven but not for changing., He's run the club how he wanted to and the lack of progress must be down to him. His clubs gone backwards on the playing front and that certainly hasn't helped.
He needs to try and reconnect with the supporters, and drop its my club thing
Supporters generally want to feel part of the club and that's definitely been side lined during MC reign,
I'm torn with that one.
He definitely doesn't allow fans to help out much as far as I can tell. We no longer seem to have things like Coolcats etc, whilst stalwarts like Sue Parker, Phil Townend and Philip Hulme to name but a few don't seem to be involved in anything.
In other respects he's very open.
Personally for the life of me I can't understand why the club have not harnessed fan power to help with the re-development like Fev have. I see no reason why tasks such as painting and decorating, fitting out, landscaping could't be handed out to a fan based body, I'm no expert on costings but surely this sort of free labour could have taken some pressure off the budget.
I'm absolutely certain that the Cats bar re-furb could have been done by the fans. I know we have the skill base.
However that's just my opinion, but I've never seen any suggestion MC or JM are keen on the idea and they may have very good reasons.
