Was it Applegarth that missed our drop goal from 30 metres out? Or Applegarth throwing a forward pass? The point I was making was all it takes is a couple of wins and we’re back in the mix, that’s how tight the table is.

Only listened on Radio, but it's sounds like they gave it a real go. Trouble is we have the triers and grafters but need a couple of good players to give us that bit extra in games like this.

Also sounds like a couple more injuries picked up today, squad getting really threadbare

Yeah, the problem with that is that we don't look likely to get that couple of wins right now - and have currently lost 5 in a row.

Gutted after that but that daft forward pass killed us. We fought well and had plenty of effort but just lack that bit of quality that makes the difference. Next week is massive.

It is not the players fault because they can only play within their own abilities and those around them. We have just put together a weak and limited squad not helped by injuries, all we can hope is that they give it their best every week. If at the end we are relegated it will be down to the quality of the squad we were willing to finance rather than the individuals players.

We lost

We have a coach who doesn't know how to win a game, and a threadbare and cheap squad who need to be coached better

Put Jowitt , Murphy and Tanginoa in and we win today and against Hudds imo !
