I feel the new regime will see the coaching set up as an initial priority. Normally if a coach is changed the assistant stands in for the interim period whilst a new coach is found. However we got rid of our assistant and competent new coach's are not readily available, the recruitment process takes time. So if we sacked Applegarth this week who would do the job ?

I thought James Ford left of his own accord?
With the new regime (sounds a bit ominous)wanting full control, he’s hopefully getting some help in the areas of recruitment, playing roster etc.. and hopefully will have set the ball rolling behind the scenes..

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

At this point, a tesco carrier bag fluttering on the wind acting as coach would achieve a similar, if not better, win rate to Applegarth.

That's not I understood it. The club came aware he had agreed a new contract at Fev next season and decided it was in our best interest that he should leave immediately. If Fordy had wanted to see the season out with us ,I am sure we would have not allowed it. Anyhow he's gone and I am hoping our present board are also going very very soon so the new 'Owner' can repair the whole rugby side of the the club.

Luke gale, surely that’s why you’d sign someone and still not play him a month later

ok so senior players did for poching, all i can say is good on ya willy there a disgrace if so. Next season we have MA as coach got told recently by someone inside that they tell conditioner to jog on now.At first i thought no, then 13 games in proctor on his knees after 15mins atoni worse.Injuries when not even in games, then i remember didn't players go crying to mc about brian smith, who goes to work to tell their bosses what to do? explains walking round puggys now. Lost players, lost respect, lost fans :WALL: :WALL:

If Wayne Bennett was carrying the bag he'd get the same result with this lot of players you can't educate pork
