Some people just find it too hard to let go.

You’re right, my head tells me now is the time to cut my losses and walk away from Trinity without so much as a glance over my shoulder toward Belle Vue

It's been our problem for the last few years. Signing has-beens and never have-beens on long contracts then hoping the next coach can turn them into world beaters.

There seems to be a feeling, across social media, that the Championship will be a walk in the park. We could easily finish 4th or 5th in the league if we go with the same current formula.

That's what I'm doing until the takeover is confirmed and Carter, Applegarth and Minards are nowhere near the club at any level. The new owners deserve a chance, the old ones had it for several years and used them all up

Keep your powder dry, if our two leaders quit and their small band groupies follow, the club will be in a better place

It's the same fans who were telling us that Applegarth would get us a top 6 finish in Super League who are now telling us that we'll come top in the championship. I think we can all see that their judgement might be a little off

I don't follow the owners, I follow Wakefield Trinity.

The season has been heart-breaking, but when I sing "Wakefield Til I Die" on the NS, I mean it.

I'll be there next year - hopefully with new owners - but I'll still be there.

So will I. Next year needs to be a positive momentum builder. Hopefully a strong squad and some finals and high finish. We supporters need to get behind that for sure.
