Quite funny looking back at some of the comments on the previous "Jordan Crowther" topic from a few months back.

I thought someone said he'd signed for Cas so wouldn't put up a fight for us. Was that rubbish all along then or was there any truth in that at the time?

Who knows, fact is he didn’t get on the pitch at all hardly this year for us, when he did get on the pitch he was pretty poor in his performances too. Bags of effort but frequently stifled attack and took wrong options. I thought his defence wasn’t great either when I saw him play this year.



He seemed to have had a real stall in his development. I just expected more from the assistant captain.



As I say though we will never know.



I hope he kicks on but a shame he didn’t with Trinity.

Yes Cas not as dumb as they look. Seems like they got a nominal transfer payment for him too, despite the fact that he never played a game.

Jordan would never give anything less than 100% for Wakey, he suffered a HIA in the magic game so was ruled out for a few weeks then had a calf strain on his return, I feel insulted that any so called wakey fans could even think of him not being up for the fight , Mash explained in an interview the reason for his loan move to Warrington, and Mash and Wakey were great and understanding about it.

. I was in hospitality when he was talking about it. Jordy moves on and Wakefield move on, wish nothing but the best for him and will be intrigued to see how he gets on under Burgess.

Just my opinion which some may or may not share. I’m not a coach and just a fan so I don’t claim to be right on everything rugby.



I just expected more this season but perhaps as mentioned there were some injuries that probably didn’t help get some consistency.



Regardless, he’s a trinity product and I wish him well and would like to see him succeed and kick on in his career. Glad he has secured a deal.

Hope Jordy goes well at Warrington. A change might have been at the right time. He'd be a free agent now anyway in our position.

If we had really invested in our home grown, given them a bit more, we could have had a back 3 from any of Pitts batchelor crowther tanginoa and ashurst.



Then really invested heavily in the positions that we needed…..

Seemed to have hit a ceiling here in more ways than one, he suffered from the home grown phenomena in terms of his salary and his value to the starting 13. And for himself, he probably needs a change of environment and a different challenge in order to improve.
