As I posted on your thread on the Cas board

It would be interesting if you try the same poll questions on both boards with the opposite scenario -

"Castleford are on with GH and NM isn't looking like happening"

See what results we get then

The big difference being that there's no basis in reality with the highlighted statement whereas this poll is based on a probability.

Have Yorkcourt promised to build the Stadium first before they get the money for the industrial units or will you have to wait for the units to be build and sold before building starts ?

A planning condition requires the stadium to be built before the industrial units.

what about the local derby with cas . It would not be the same ie both sets of supporters walking through the same turn stiles we both call home, this would reduce adrenalin and excitement knowing we are both entering our own terriotries. What about the players not having that bus ride to the opponents ground. They would also have that nervous journey taken away from them that generates that extra adrenalin which can enhance performance. From a bussiness point of view it makes sense but from the supporters point of view and players it would destroy adrenalin, excitement, and a nevous entry into an opponents ground. You might as well become one team.

Wow another stadium thread - just what this forum has been missing lately. Great to see that GH might get finished first, or NM might, or neither might. It's like Groundhog day, I said it was like Groundhog Day, like Groundhog day.....

Once a Sandal Wild Cat always a Sandal Wild Cat.

Some talk of Bradford Northern and some of Hull and Leeds
Of Wigan and St Helens and such great teams as these
Of all the teams in Rugby league with me you will agree
The best team in the whole wide world is Wakefield Trinity!

Bring back the British Coal shirts for 2012

Come home Steve Georgallis & Nigel Wright

One of the main points of the 106 agreement. Do you think YC will have been sat idle waiting to get PP before selling/agreeing contracts for plots??
With how long this has been in the planning YC will have had plenty of time "selling the project".
I'd heard word a while back that Tescos want one of the big plots & Soccer City (Sir Rodney's company) wanted another, then there was the interest from Steve Parkins haulage company that was rumored..
I would add that none of the above were ever confirmed, but YC are a successful company & have had no problems selling plots before, I would hazard a guess they'll be well on with it & will launch it when we receive the good new early next year.

The FPP application has been ready to go for nearly a year now by all accounts, things will move very fast once we cross the next hurdle (PI).

Phew!! Where could I start?

Nah! I'll leave it for now

BTW It's Goals Soccer Centres and their shares have tumbled in the last few weeks by 25p due to poor results and an ongoing VAT dispute. Sir Rod owns 374,000 shares - stock markets eh!
