My worst case scenario suspicion is that someone has offered the club a fee to move to their city, so the club would remain solvent and in super league but it would play out of a different city. This would then mean that any new club who wants to play professional rugby in Wakefield would likely have to apply to join championship 1

When it comes to RL nothing would surprise you as they seem to make it up as they go along. However, I agree with DA that if we were to be demoted because of the ground I think that would be me done. Unfortunately it appears a dog eat dog environment so if our demise was to benefit others, I don't think many clubs wouldn't think twice about it

If the RFL kick us out despite finishing fifth that's me done as well with rugby league. It's be farcical on another level. You don't see Burnley, Bournemouth and Everton facing such a threat depsite having grounds not fit for purpose.

In the context of the Etihad or the Emirates your right, but really the only thing wrong with the 3 clubs mentioned is their support is far greater than their ground capacity.

Keep hearing we fail to meet min sl standards..what are they..if its ground capacity thats crap as when have we had a sell out all ticket game..surely its just the club itself that suffers..why should this be a min standard..i know as a club its not fit for purpose generating money for itself..

Minimum capacity is 8.5k. Think minimum seated capacity is 2k.
