If you think that’s “rolling over and dying” then that’s your opinion and your problem. The alternative is to move out of Wakefield with no plan to return and there are clear examples of what that will probably lead to. I therefore prefer my alternative!
I’m as fed up as anyone with the politicking, back channelling, fork tongued statements, half truths and lies but unless someone’s got a master plan that we don’t know about yet then getting back around the table is still the best way forward.
After nearly ten years of talking around a table what has actually been achieved ? Zero - we no longer own our stadium, we have no viable plan for a stadium in the city. looking at the outputs - the council (biggest land owner in wakefield) have delivered nothing in terms of providing a facility for the club to play in, that meets super league standards. So if we continue jaw jaw on a similar basis to the preceding years - what will be the likely outcome.

Its true civil proceedings will take time we dont have, and spend money we can ill afford to lose, but getting round a table without a potential lever will just sees the current impasse remaining until the club disappears or becomes a park team playing at east moor or stanley
