I don't think theres a lot between the forwards size wise but Cas seem to have the ability to regain their feet very quickly and with the fat little waster at dummy half they get a roll on that is hard to stop.

On a brighter note I am reliably informed that no walls have blown down and the floodlights are working fine.

Yeah just reading CC interview on the SL site, at least it's now and not earlier in the season but to have only 17 fit players is a big injury list. Only real positive is this he said about Rocky-

I think he is SL greatest exponent of this skill , no teams seem able to combat it and we never seem to try and copy this highly effective tactic.

He's not bad at conversions either, a right little clever dick.

Looking at your season's squad (which was skinny to start with) thats a lot of injuries. Finn gone as well.

In the games I have seen involving Castleford they don’t mind giving away penalties when they fear they are about to be broken. They are warned but usually no action taken and I am sorry but McShane is one of the worse culprits.

Cas by plenty and to make it 13 wins on the bounce against Wakey.

Love all the negative posts about McShane who has easily been our most consistent player over the last couple of seasons. Plays 80 minutes week in week out so for a FAT lad can easily keep up.



Anyway I think we will be up for this with it now being confirmed our last home game of the season.



Cas 36-16 Wakey - slow start but solid last 50mins.

I think he's actually lost weight while at Cas. He was definitely podgier here and at Leeds.



As for Cas fans going on about how well he's been for them and I agree he has, it just reinforces some peoples thoughts on him while he was here - that for such a good talented player, he was pinching a wage at times. Like has been said, at that time he was one of a few good players we had but apart from the odd occasion he just seemed uninterested. Maybe if it happened the other way round Cas fans would be saying the same.

How was our squad any more skinny than yours?

As a matter of interest where is wild thing these days?

He has a heart the size of a pea, you want to hope you never find yourself in tough times as he will be the first one to wave the white flag and decide he cant be bothered to play for your team anymore. In all seriousness I would not even think about swapping him for a player like Woody as he seems to give 100% no matter what.

Is it really that big?



By the I mean it's still 17 what you would call first choice players - it's the penultimate game of the season and as far as I'm aware we are yet to blood any first year contract players let alone any Academy lads.



Not too bad really all things considered.

What I can't stand more than anything about Cas is the sense of entitlement some of their fans seem to have developed. Like they could be walloping Leeds by 50 and still posters like Gronk thing the ref is against them.

Correct, McShane is a good player in a team on the front foot but is totally dependent on his team mates playing well. Personally I don't see him as a scrapper but clearly at Cas he doesn't need to be.

I absolutely guarantee they will moan at the ref even if they are ahead by 20+ at ht.
