His tackling isn't great, but good with ball in hand....for a hippy ! Last time we played Toronto at Leigh, after celebrating a try he stuck 2 fingers up at us Leythers in the north stand. Winker

Stop saying some one is wanting strike action till you know the facts from the club .There the same on northerners lot of talk no proof

I was wondering more about wingers/centres, Kay would be in addition to Johnstone, BJB, Atkins, Lyne, Tupou, Arundel, Kershaw and you wouldn't expect to take someone on loan, unless they were going to play, not to mention the 2 year deal following the loan spell.

Kershaw is obviously going at the end of the season, unless he has a change of heart, and we don't know how fit BJB is going to be for the remainder of this season and beyond, so Kay's signing makes a lot of sense to me.

I guess we will have some idea with regards to the state of relations between the team and those in charge Monday when training is suppose to start. I have not heard that we have settled with the squad and the number of teams that have are increasing.

Think Arundel is already out for full season and we still don't know if BJB can resume full training.

Isn’t BJB’s contract up at the end of this season?

If so I’d anticipate he will be a direct replacement for him.

It’s a shame but BJB isn’t on the field enough, he is past his best years and probably has significantly larger wage expectations than Kaye.

Looking at the financial pressures the club faces probably a nice bit of business and shows the club is cutting its cloth accordingly.
