Yes we need 2 number 9s in the 17. Both woods can’t do the 80 like most 9s. Let’s not forget Kyle is 32 this season also. Honestly if there was a quality 9 out there somewhere I’d be looking. That said it gives young Bowes a decent shout at a few games this year and possibly Crowther if cover is needed there.

No matter who we play and where, some players will be disappointed and that’s exactly how it should be.
If we all agree on the same line up we’re in big trouble. Not just a nice position to be in but very necessary.

Think Rocky to good to be out of the team, .Would like to him to have a go as hooker.,with his speed of the mark .could catch a few teams out from play the ball plus he is a good kicked in lose play

If Crowther is playing, he can certainly do the defensive part of #9 while either of the Wood's are taking a breather, which would also give us cover for wing, FB and the halves and he's an absolute asset as a running "hooker" out of dummy half.

I know that the "modern" way is to have 4 forwards on the bench. However, IF we are to be cramming fixtures again, having some speed on the bench would be a great way to exploit tiring defences.

Hampshire is a great player but IMO, we have a better option at FB in Jowitt and hopefully a better option in the halves in Lino and as a winger, he would be behind Johnstone and Senior.
Again, if we are to be cramming fixtures, unfortunately, there are likely to be plenty of injuries, so, having players as versatile as Hampshire and Jowitt, will be a major plus.

I think any fair-minded fan has to give any player who joined us for the 2020 season a free pass, it was so far from ideal it was a farce. That would even have applied for Gigot.

Walker unfortunately not good enough for me i never want to see a plsyer fail at my club but he as been a bad signing although in his defence these thoughts may be because for me hes just not needed and a waste on the cap..as for gigot i was happy when he signed but no he not wanting to work and do the graft we cant afford to carry players like that
