It is what it is, at times like this folk wanna come on here and vent their frustrations as with Covid there’s no chance of any supporters meetings, although I suspect without COVID we wouldn’t be having one with things as they are.

Some posters have been negative about Chester and Carter for ages and guess what, it appears they were bang on the money.

Unfortunately PT can`t use that narrative against me, I have been so called "Negative" as he calls it regarding Chester for some time now, even in victory, like against Wigan. It`s not been negative, its actually just the truth as I see it right in front of my eyes and as you say as it becomes more and more apparent, more posters and fans will point that out in frustration, I think that`s quite obvious.

It's not like we haven't spent money and in the grand scheme of things he's probably had as much as most of our other coaches. Money doesn't grow on trees does it. We have good enough players to do better is the long and short of it and because of that this is more a Chester issue imo

Carter has admitted previously that we are spending more than we ever have done before in superleague, i can’t criticise him for making as many funds as possible available to the coach. Problem is the performances don’t match that outlay and he has/is letting things ride too long. Long term damage is being done right in front of our eyes, at least the ones that aren’t too blind to see it.

Absolutely hilarious some of you lot on here at the moment. Just because PT holds a different opinion, he’s now enemy number one.

Why not just let be, what will be?

What will be is relegation next season if Chester is still in charge.

public enemy number one he’s his own person he can do and say what the hell he likes, to me his opinions have become tedious and sickly and he sounds like some former eastern block propaganda spokesman reeling out the club line. I’m not finding any of this hilarious at the moment in fact I didn’t even think I give a toss about the game anymore till I watched what I can describe one of the worst performances I’ve ever seen and it hurt

When I was a driver I used to work for an Ex Barnsley footballer called Duncan Sharp, I had a fall out with him and called him a nasty name, Sharpy said that's nowt squire when I was playing I've had as many as 20k calling me worse than that, to which I replied aye and they can't all have been wrong, just saying like, don't think he's enemy number 1, it's just a very strong tide he's swimming against at the moment.

If we are going down that route with the unproven English and I'm certainly not against it, I'd go for Sean Long at Leeds, love to see him given the chance.

How about enticing Gale with the offer of a player-coach role ?

Could it be any worse ?

I don't disagree with you there. You post when we win too.
But some don't post at all unless there is some bad news to jump on.

As said, it is what it is. I just find it strange. Why bother watching if you can't see anything good?

Yes. Players stopped being player coaches in the 70s when it was clear you can't do 2 jobs at the same time even when it was semi pro.

He is a great player but he has as much experience coaching a super league team as I do.
