I'd say considering your assessment of the backs, Gaskell is an excellent signing as we need someone to cover them all.

I know, that's why I don't understand the fuss. I don't know but I suspect that being part-time suits him as he concentrates on his business commitments. It's not always the club that the bad guy.

So to save Jose from pointing out the obvious, here are some questions. How are you going to fund the team you want, how are you going to pay off all those players you want rid of, including paying all the inevitable legal costs. Did you apply for the head coach job at the club, you really should have, though unluckily for you I'm apparently next in line.

My question to you is why do you continually point out the blooming obvious yet offer absolutely no real answers? We employ a coaching team to sort out the team and have a BOD's to do the rest off-field and they simply can't please everyone. If you can do better go for it but like the rest of us you can't because you don't have the ability or the cash do you?

Opinions are opinions but there comes a point where it's just moaning for the sake of it in my opinion. I'd get it if we were halfway through the season without a win but as yet we have not even finished putting the team together. So why not do what we are supposed to do, it's in our name, supporters, so just support at least until the wheels do actually come off.

See first of all where have i said i want rid of players or players should simply be got rid of i havent i know contracts dont work like that but i am just pointing out the obvious and the concerns I have now the key word there is I and the concerns i have are mine and if i want to post that on here i will after allyou more than anyone posts more rubbish than biffa as to deal with.now without knowing the financial deals it isnt right to comment on why certain players have been signed or kept on and while every player who dons the trinity does and will always get my full support it doesnt mean i have to be excited and think we will become world beaters.and i do subscribe to trinity tv squadbuilder have a season ticket and have attended scolaship and academy so i think i am entitled to opinion im not slagging anyone off.as with regards running i think the mc does an excellent job and ive never questioned him or the rest of the BOD although he himself admits he got tranfers wrong over last couple years.but unlike you i dont think could run the club even if i was on wealth of the saudi who bought newcastle i still wouldnt run the club but i would trust MC JM RL and rest of the BOD with my millions to run it.of course though as already pointed on here dont understand why you dont run it with your expertise in sure we would be nrl champiins never mind sl champions

Anyway thats my last post for a long time on here more important things in life than to be reading your crap anymore

Don’t read my crap then, just put me on ignore. Then you can post unchallenged. I don’t get why people post on here and are then shocked to be challenged, it’s a forum, it’s in the name.

Those who don’t wish to debate can go on Facebook and post whatever they want without correction or moderation.

I don’t go on Facebook because it’s not the place for debate or arguments, this forum is within the limitations of the AUP’s.

We all have the right to reply or ignore but we can’t cry foul when someone disagrees unless it’s personally offensive, have I I personally offended you, tricky as I don’t know you and that’s the key here. We are all anonymous (mostly) hence it’s not personal, you’re probably a lovely person, it’s your comments not you I’m questioning, though in fairness I don’t always manage to phrase it as well as I should, nobodies perfect.

We all have our opinions and mine is that the current squad is not good enough compared to the rest of the league with the current exception of Toulouse. I hope we are not beginning to believe our invincibility when it comes to relegation and can get away with underfunding the squad for next season. We have lost 8 players from last years first team squad not including the young lad who went to Doncaster. We have currently signed a project from London coming back from a serious injury, Gaskell from Huddersfield, Hood from relegated Leigh and Lineham from Warrington who I think was brought in to replace Johnson whose contract ends at the end of next season.
The problem is that the other ten teams have strengthened and I am sure they will have also lost revenue from the new Sky deal.

You don't think it's better than Salford? Certainly a match for HKR, Hudds and a few others.

We are unlikely to win SL, probably won't get a top-six but apart from that, we have IMO a decent enough team to trouble most.

Not that i'm remotely interested in any other clubs recruitment, apart from such as Leeds I'm not really impressed with with the recruitment in general of most clubs.

For my money Jowitt is our best fullback and Rocky is an out and out halfback but he needs a good run at 7 with Miller at 6
I also feel that Lino would do a great job at 9 with Hood off the bench
I hope Rocky does sign but we also need a centre

We need some much overdue luck with injuries if that happens Trinity will give most clubs a game
If injuries strike again in numbers it will be a very tough season
