What everyone is missing (well done mainstream media), is that you do NOT need a vaccine passport to, for example, go to a match.
You DO need to have done a negative LFT in the previous 2 days.
However, if you are fully vaccinated, you are EXEMPT from the requirement to show a negative test.
Oh my lord yes.
Everyone wants Boris taken to task but for me, he's been almost half decent compared to the media, especially the BBC, I'd now believe Fox news before this bunch of hysterical self-serving bunch of virtue signalling twerps.
I pick on the BBC in particular because we fund it and it's meant to be unbiased, it's written into its constitution!
The amount of misinformation to come out of these once trusted new organisations has been diabolical. It's been contradictory, confrontational and designed to be sensational rather than helpful in any way.
If the PM and his ministers ever face the courts over this, sat next to them should be many a TV news editor and journalist IMO, lies are lies no matter where they come from and it's certainly NOT freedom of the press, it's an utter scandal.

ITV and BBC news programmes are more interested in trying to make the news rather than reporting it.

Been an ongoing issue for years since the dreadful Kate Adie made herself the centre of attention.
However, in the last few years, the BBC and ITN have decided to set the agenda then preach it relentlessly.
I watch GB news now, it too is flawed and has an agenda but at least seems grounded in reality. However, what I'd really like is for the BBC, in particular, to do what it once did brilliantly. Tell the new using facts and interviews only where necessary. No message or opinion, utterly emotionless, treating its viewers like adults who can make up their own minds. It's not difficult unless you're a liberal poser.
I'm in my early forties and fully jabbed, but I am vehemently against anything being 'forced' upon somebody without justification. If your justification is that you think that person is going to cause death and suffering then you're clearly blinded by the media spin. COVID is not the leading cause of early death. The leading causes of early death are related to lifestyle - we eat too much rubbish, we drink too much and we smoke too much, all at the same time as not getting any exercise. As well as early death this puts the NHS under the most pressure. We're all guilty of it despite all the warnings we've had for the last 100 years, but still we do nothing.
The funny thing is, we aren't forcing people to go jogging, fining them for £10,000 for drinking and smoking, or calling them idiots for being obese. Apparently that is inhumane, but somehow discriminating against someone who doesn't want a vaccine is okay... There's nowt as queer* as folk. To use an analogy, how many people would attend RL matches if we asked them to show proof of exercise, correct weight and no beer consumption?
*For those engaged in Social Media virtue-signalling, I'd like to clarify this is an old phrase from the North of England, not an attack on anyone from the LGBTQ+ community

Smoking is banned in many spaces and you don't breathe obesity onto other people.
And it's not only about cases/deaths - without controlling covid, the NHS will cease to exist. There will be no-one getting treated for anything, end of.

Er, actually it is. We can't control Covid. It's a virus. That mutates. A lot. Like the flu. And other viruses.
