Pity that once again the journalists only acknowledge one team as weakened!
Didn't expect any difference but it does get annoying.

There is no doubt they were more weakened than us.
Doesn't make a difference to the scoreline.

Though a very similar team nearly beat Cas at Whelden Road so they are no mugs.

Can anyone who was at today's game give us a summary of who/what went well and what didn't? Thought we might lose today so to win a fourth on the bounce with a lot of changes was bladdy lavley.

That's not my point PT - the press only acknowledge they were weakened. I'm sure you'll agree a good number of those we fielded were not first choice!
But you're correct in that the scoreline stands and it was a convincing one.

J Sambou Martyn Simm Hill

Gilford and Lane (along with Corkill and Archer) are the academy group below Baxter/Delaney/Moss and putting them up against the likes of Murphy was a fools errand. But with Simm/Sambou/Hill injured what can you do? Our biggest issue this year is that our reserves level side has been decimated and we have had to go younger and younger in search of replacements.

That’s not to take away from Wakefield - whom I totally get had players out too, were good value for the win. Have some player in Murphy, very much hope there’s a deal to be done as our replacement for Grace

Appreciate your post - YOU at least know we had players out too - it's the press I was knocking!
Anyway you're right we do have some player in Murphy and I'm sure you'll understand we'd like to keep him a bit longer!
