I have to agree with this, the club have made some terrible decisions this season but this isn't one

Even if the Trinity press release is true (it isn't), it just shows yet again how utterly incompetent our leadership is. A complete lack of succession planning is how we ended up with Applegarth, and they've still not learned.

Not to mention that they were supposed to be improving fan engagement to meet IMG criteria - but decided to stay silent for 24 hours so they could create a story about how a coach left

Odd, because I've just been chatting to somebody in the know at Fev who said I was pretty much spot on. So who to believe, a club looking to save face or a club with nothing to prove about it?

What is poor form is that he was having this discussion with Fev while telling the wakey fans that we were all in this together at the fan forum

Fev will be taking a leaf out of Leigh’s book here, albeit a little late in the day - Ford will be on a recruitment drive to get players in place for SL next season, more players may or may not come in this season but they see themselves as pretty much certs to go up, and like Chester at Leigh Ford will now have the scope to do that and leave Long to concentrate on the coaching

Highly unlikely Fev only wanted him at the end of the season as the work has to be done way before then, in fact even now is on the brink of being to late

Fev wanted him immediately, they've been on the look out for a DoR since the start of the season, but ramped up efforts in recent weeks as it looked more and more likely they would be promoted.
