Don’t think they won the middle. In fact I think overall trinity won the forward battle or at the least it was evens.

I said before the game that Ward will have them ship it to the edges. He did exactly the same at London and is a very readable coach. They did exactly that. Shipped the ball to the edges many times during the game early and late in the sets. We failed to prepare for that.

The fact they had Massey and broadbent missing for the entire second half and used up their 8 subs after us tells me their forwards played big minutes and we failed to dominate down the middle given the numerical advantage. Proctor was a no show in the second half for some be-known reason, though his complimentary 15/ 20 minute contribution was hardly noticeable let’s face it.

Just a massive opportunity blown away .. we didn’t lift unti Fifita came on ! Can’t for the life of me understand why / how we didn’t come out and get straight into them ! We stood off them , gave them all the time in the world . We made them look a good team ! Shocking .

Because we're back bottom, by some way now.

Hardly "by some way", it's two points.
Mind you, if we cant beat Cas at home, there is little chance of beating anyone else.

No Dagger still remains a mystery, the guy must be well hacked off.
He has to be in the halves now and Kay too, needs to play more minutes.

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

Indeed.
What he doesn't get is that 'one stand' has a better chance of giving us Super League status than signing half the Penrith team.

And what you don't get is that all of those off pitch changes don't give you a super league team if/when we are relegated at the end of this season, and no matter the investment and changes to meet IMG rules, if we're not super league at the start of next season, the IMG criteria will see us out of the top flight for the foreseeable future as they are going to prioritise those already in the league over those wanting to come up

I think you need to go read the rules again. That is word for word not true.

Top 6 down there are a number of teams who are pretty interchangeable between Championship and Super League. If the worst happens but we get our house in order, with hopefully the new guys in charge then I don't see a reason why we can't get back up if we win the second tier.

Would we even need to win the second tier ??
Without wasting half my day going through all the qualifying criteria, could we achieve a grade 'A' by ticking all of the other boxes ??

Not yet I don't think.
But I think we are in a reasonable decent B compare to others.
JM explained at the SH meeting the test criteria wouldn't consider stand etc until next year's actual assessment.

Well Ellis was watching today.
Wonder if he's still keen.

Matt Ellis`s Mum and Dad were also watching, they have been to several matches, I know Minards is advising that he needs to speak to them, perhaps he could have introduced himself.
