Got to say I'm delighted that fafita will be with us another year
He's a real marque signing
Seems to have gone a little quiet on the signing front at the mo
Chester mentioned a back row was on his list and I assume that the allgood deal is now a none starter as to the best of my knowledge we have used all our OS quota
So we have signed, Fifita, Hirst, Grix, Catton Brown and Williams, that's five in my book as I think you can safely say Fifita was a trialist of sorts.
Moore is an issue that needs resolution.
I honestly only see one more "new" signing if any at all.
Furthermoore I'm happy enough with that so long as Moore is adequately replaced.
We now have three genuinly big players in England, Hirst and Fifita and adequate support in Arona ans Simon and hopefully A N Other.
A great set of S/R's in Ashurst who IMHO is one uf the most under rated players in SL, Kirmond and Tupou if fit, Anakin may finally put in a full season and young Crowther may get a few games and of course Molloy and Walker as back up. Also Arona and Simon have good utility value. Then there is Sio who like Ashurst is underated and is one of the best defensive 13's in the game.
So if we can avoid to many injuries and if A N Other turns out to be a forward then that's one of the toughest most competitive packs we've put out in years - it's certainly shouldn't be soft.
A lot now depends on A.Tupou, if he can get reasonably fit he's an assett if he can't he's blocking what could be a really useful signing - I really hope that decency and honesty prevail.
