For me, Hampshire is an outstanding athlete with great skills, but he lacks the game managent/team skills that will make him great. He needs a Finn just like Miller and Lino.

When ryan left wakefield chester phoned him to sign and play full back for leigh. He didn't get offered a deal at wakefield and to be fair it wasn't down to chester it was Carter who said hel never play again while I'm ceo I hate his dad. Miller on tje other hand wanted to stay but the club delayed and delayed then after he'd signed for cas the club wanted to phone them and pay a fee for him to come back without playing.

That in my eyes means more than money or who he went to. Take the rivalry out of the emotiov would you like to go to Chinese first match of season, bring your son and wife if you want, il pay.

For me Ryan fits perfectly as to what we need. A player that can play half back and full back. Whether we can get him is another story. Dagger would have done the same but went to York unfortunately.

I hardly ever spoke to Carter, but I knew we had something in common. Can't put my finger on it
